Join SWIWC for a virtual training throughout the month of March. Go to their website to register and to get more information about this important event. Here is an excerpt from the registration page:

“SWIWC is excited to offer a 40-hour training for domestic and sexual violence victim advocates who are new to victim advocacy, those who work with survivors and/or those who wish to refresh their knowledge.

This training will provide information on the following topic areas:
Foundations of Advocacy
-Trending Topics, Crucial Intersections and Special Considerations
-Advocacy within the Criminal Justice System
-Victims/Survivors Addressing and Responding to Domestic and Sexual Violence
-Coordinated, Collaborative, and Communicative Responses
-Taking Care of YOU – Spiritually, Mentally, Emotionally
