Join SWIWC for a virtual webinar on the The Intersection of Sex Trafficking and Substance Use.
Visit their official event page here– “Sex trafficking (ST) and substance use disorders (SUD) are public health and safety crises that impact local, state, and tribal communities. Substances can be a recruitment and retention tool used by traffickers. Conversely, those individuals using substances are also more vulnerable to trafficking. This workshop will identify key areas where these two issues overlap, and offer attendees practical strategies for response.
Attendees will learn about the various overlaps and parallels that exist within that intersection of sex trafficking and substance use.”
