ATCEV Tribal Coalition Board Institute

Event Details

The Tribal Coalition Board Institute is a 2-day interactive institute providing Tribal Coalition board members with best practices in nonprofit governance, understanding the broader landscape of their position and Tribal Coalition, as well as equipping them to engage effectively with community partners.

Date: July 13-14, 2026 (travel dates will be July 12 & 15)
Registration: Registration is closed | Two board members from each Tribal Coalition are invited to attend this training. | Registration closed on June 12, 2026. | After registering, the National Advocacy Center will be sending a confirmation to the board member registrant with more information.
Hotel: Attendees who were confirmed registered were sent an email from the National Advocacy Center with group code/password and instructions on how to book their hotel that is located inside the training center. To note: The National Advocacy Center is a federal training facility and cannot accommodate family members. If traveling with a guest, please reserve offsite lodging. Please email ta@atcev.org if you need assistance. 
Additional Information:
  • If you are driving to the NAC, you can buy parking passes at the NAC hotel front desk for $5 per day.

  • Breakfast and lunch are included in the cost of your hotel in the NAC dining room. If you are staying offsite, meals can be purchased at the dining room.
  • The NAC is a non-smoking facility. There is a place outside where smoking is permitted.
  • Morty’s Moosehead Lounge is open nightly at 5pm on the 3rd floor of the NAC, where you can buy drinks and light meals.
  • A free evening shuttle runs to and from popular restaurant districts in Columbia. You can find a shuttle schedule at the hotel front desk.
  • Visitors must be entered in our Visitor Management System before arriving.  If you are expecting a visitor, please let us know. No overnight visitors are allowed.
  • Your bags are subject to screening by law enforcement when you arrive at the NAC.
  • The NICTI will provide reasonable accommodations to people with disabilities. Please make accommodation requests as early as possible, preferably at least three weeks in advance of the training. No one will be excluded because of a disability-related accommodations request.
