The Hopi-Tewa Rise & Thrive Summit aims to strengthen the coalition’s youth-focused initiative to provide a safe learning environment for youth and young adults to enhance their understanding of violence against native women and create ideas that will empower community action. \nGoals: \n\nProvide educational and motivational presentations that address violence against women and girls.\nEmpower youth to use their voice through interactive discussions and hands-on activities.\nFor Hopi-Tewa Women’s Coalition to End Abuse to gain insight from attendees on establishing a Hopi-Tewa Youth Coalition Against Violence.\nEstablish partnerships with youth\, young adults\, partner programs\, and community members.\n\nThe Hopi-Tewa Women’s Coalition to End Abuse staff and board of directors truly believe that our Hopi & Tewa youth carry the DNA and prayers of our people within them.
