  • Tribal Response to Human Trafficking Training

    "NETAV is hosting our 1st Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Friendraiser! It will be held at Yates Illuminates , 3260 Davenport Street, Omaha, NE, on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 3-6pm! Appetizers will be provided by the Chepka Kitchen. We will be having raffles throughout the event! Pictures of our items will be posted soon! Individual tickets are $30.00 to attend. This includes 2 drink tickets and 1 red raffle ticket. Sponsorships are available for purchase. Tier 1 - $250 - Includes your logo on the slideshow at the event, 3 individual tickets, 6 drinks tickets, and 3 red raffle tickets. Tier 2 - $500 - Includes your logo on the slideshow at the event, our event's page, and program. This also includes 5 NETAV swag bags, 5 dividual tickets, 10 drink tickets, and 5 red raffle tickets. Tier 3 - $750 - Includes your logo on the slideshow at the event, our event's page, program, and a shout out throughout the night. This also includes 7 NETAV swag bags, 7 individual tickets, 14 drink tickets, and 7 blue raffle tickets. There are two tiers for raffle tickets. RED - Tickets are $5 each, or 3 tickets for $10, or 5 tickets for $20. BLUE - Tickets are $10 each, or 3 tickets for $15, or 5 tickets for $25.     Join the Nebraska Tribes Addressing Violence Coalition for a an exciting evening showcasing youth programming and learning. Please contact NETAV with any questions. Here is an excerpt on the event from NETAV: UPDATE: Event Pivot: As nonprofits trying to exist in 2025, we have adopted the mindset of “read the room” meaning the current state of the world. Our original event on November 8, was meant to serve as a joint fundraiser for Nebraska Tribes Addressing Violence Coalition (NETAV) and Bluebird Cultural Initiative. But, in light of the suspension of SNAP benefits and because we know that so many in our community are struggling right now, we are pivoting our event to now be a FREE COMMUNITY MEAL. Bluebird and NETAV put our community first, and right now, our community needs us to serve. We want to encourage anyone and everyone to now attend this event for a FREE MEAL with choice of soup, fry bread, and dessert. Please RSVP on Eventbrite so that we have an accurate attendance count, but folks are still encouraged to show up at the door. We will still have raffle tickets that folks can purchase and we will still welcome any money donations that folks may be able to contribute to support our organizations, but we want this event to now focus more on our work and serving our missions, which is to promote safety, culture, and healing for Native folks and our tribal communities in Nebraska.
